Russia and China should be asked now to name their own special envoys in the Balkans, Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik said commenting on the appointment of Richard Grenell as Washington's special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina talks, Serbian media carried on Sunday.
“Serbia has no reason to be worried, it has a clear stance. It would be good now to ask Russia and China to name their special envoys, so we can see how can those issues be solved. America proved to be a country that defended the story on the illegal proclamation of Kosovo as a state,” Dodik said in an interview for Kurir daily.
Grenell currently serves as US Ambassador in Berlin and, as The Washington Times reported, he was the longest-serving US spokesman at the United Nations, working under four ambassadors from 2001 to 2008.
