Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak opened on Tuesday Bosnia's honorary consulate in Italy's city of Genoa.

“Relations with Italy are exceptionally good and this country is the fourth foreign-trade partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During this year we expect to reach two billion Euros worth of trade exchange,” Crnadak said during the opening ceremony.

He announced that the Foreign Ministry will dominantly work in the upcoming period on the strengthening of economic relations of the two countries as a most emphasised way of cooperation.

A business forum which will gather entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Italy this November will be the consulate's first activity.

“Since there are over 70 Italian companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I believe the experience that they will share during the business forum will help new investors to decide and do business in our country,” said Crnadak.

The consulate opening was attended by Honorary Consul Rinaldo Masinori and Ambassador to Italy Slavko Matanovic.
