Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday that Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina should form a block and advocate their common interests.

“I often attend meetings across the world where we attack each other instead of supporting one another and advocating our common interests,” Dacic told a gathering in Belgrade on promoting relations between the three former Yugoslav republics. The Dialogue for the Future gathering is part of a program of the same name being implemented by UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO with financing from the UN Peacebuilding Fund.  

He said the future lies in mutual links. “Now they came up with the name Western Balkans which never existed. It was Yugoslavia once,” he said. “Whatever it is called now, we are all here together, breathing the same air,” Dacic said.
