Air pollution in Bosnia's capital has reached 'very unhealthy' level, according to the latest measurements of the 'Eko Akcija' association.
The measurements showed the dangerously high presence of PM 10 particles, standing at 229, which can potentially cause serious health issues.
Locals and those staying in the capital, most of all pregnant women, seniors, children and people with respiratory health issues or heart conditions, should stay indoors and refrain from intense physical activity, Eko Akcija said.
Also, the AirVisual air quality measurement system showed on Wednesday afternoon that Sarajevo was leading the way on the list of the world cities in air pollution.
