The Reform Programme does not include “a single word” on Bosnia's further road to the NATO, Bosnian Serb leader and member of the State Presidency Milorad Dodik said Saturday, a day after the opposition unveiled the content of the document they claim is “irreversibly” taking the country to the alliance.

“It is very clear that the Reform Programme is a document that breaks up the continuity we had in the past towards the NATO integration, like for instance former (Serb) member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanic had,” said Dodik.

Dodik recalled that the ex-Serb member in Bosnia's tripartite Presidency, Mladen Ivanic, adopted the Foreign Policy Strategy which mentions the NATO integration as a priority, despite the fact that the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity he represented adopted a resolution on military neutrality.

According to him, the Reform Programme is interpreted in various ways but that there is actually no Bosnia's NATO integration mentioned in the document.

The opposition is making “much ado about nothing,” Dodik said commenting on the criticism the document adoption sparked among the opposition in Republika Srpska.
