Bosnia's Orthodox believers marked the Christmas Eve by lighting the yule-log and reciting a prayer at the Old Orthodox Church in Sarajevo on Monday evening.
Dozens of believers flocked the church's front yard to attend the yule-log lighting ceremony, which marks the beginning of Christmas festivity.
Bosnia Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik wished everyone a Merry Christmas, saying that this was the most joyful feast when families gather to convey messages of love, understanding, solidarity and tolerance.
“I wish Christmas will give strength to everyone to compete with the challenges you encounter and that this holiday will fill your homes with warmth, joy and harmony,” said Dodik in his Christmas message.
