The United Kingdom is leaving the European Union, but that does not mean the country will stop supporting efforts to make Bosnia “a country where all citizens have the conditions and opportunities to be successful,” UK Ambassador Matthew Field said in a video message he posted on Twitter on Friday.
“I have said many times that leaving the EU does not mean the UK’s withdrawal. To the contrary. We have doubled our support for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region,” the Ambassador said.
“We are increasingly present and engaged. Our priorities will be the same as the priorities of the citizens - a stable, prosperous and functional country (which is) an inclusive home to all of its citizens. We want to help in creating a country where all citizens have the conditions and opportunities to be successful,” he said.
