Due to the novel coronavirus outbreak in Bosnia, the 11th Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF), the annual event gathering entrepreneurs and leaders from all parts of the world, has been postponed for a still undefined date in autumn this year, organisers said on Wednesday.
“The decision on postponement has been passed on the grounds of the current situation in the region and worldwide caused by the coronavirus. This move has been made primarily to protect the health and safety of the SBF participants and is in line with recommendations of the competent authorities,” said the organisers
The event that was initially scheduled for April 20-22 will take place at a later date, which will be announced in due course.
The preparations and presentation of investments in Bosnia and the region will resume on an online platform said the organiser, adding that all other activities aimed to encourage domestic and foreign investments will continue as well.
