The Montenegrin government has banned all indoor and outdoor gatherings and closed all schools and universities for at least the next 15 days to prevent the spread of the coronavirus even though there have been no confirmed cases in that country.
The government also banned the docking of boats with tourists in Montenegro’s coastal ports and temporarily closed all smaller border crossings. A recommendation was also made to employers to have their staff work from home.
The government said that criminal charges would be filed against anyone not implementing its measures.
