To show solidarity with the people of Italy during the coronavirus pandemic, Sarajevo lit up its landmark City Hall in green, white and red on Saturday evening.

“That state has been a hotspot of the coronavirus pandemic throughout the past few weeks. Although the entire world, including us in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is facing the spread of the virus and preventive measures, we are sending our friends in Italy the message that we stand with them the same way they stood with us during the most difficult times,” Sarajevo’s Mayor Abdulah Skaka said.
