Serbia’s Health Ministry reports six new coronavirus cases, bringing total to 89

At 6 pm, six new patients were tested positive on coronavirus in Serbia, and the total number of infected on Wednesday reached 89, the Health Ministry published on its COVID-19.rs website.

Three people have been sent to home isolation with mild symptoms, while the other three were admitted to a hospital without complication and in stable condition

According to the Ministry’s report at 8 am, there were 83 confirmed cases.

Between the two reports, 19 people were tested, and 13 were negative to the virus.

A total of 440 people were tested in Serbia so far at the National Torlak Institute Laboratory until 6 pm on Wednesday.

One patient earlier tested positive on COVID-19 was reported in critical condition in the Vojvodina Clinic Centre.

On Tuesday, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic declared the state of emergency across the country.
