Serbia will help Republika Srpska (RS) and Federation (FBiH), Bosnia's both entities, to fight against the coronavirus, Bosnia's Presidency member Milorad Dodik said Monday following a meeting with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.

Dodik told the reporters this was a productive meeting and that Serbia will supply whole Bosnia and Herzegovina with medical equipment but also with raw materials to produce basic food items.

Serbia will also, Dodik said, try to take the role of a leader in terms of providing the assistance that it receives from China, with the accent on respirators, masks, and protective coveralls for health workers.

“I would like to say that as far as Serbia is concerned, the door is open to us, as usual, there won't be any barriers for other materials and goods such as fertilisers, cattle food, everything in accordance with what Serbia could put at disposal,” said Dodik.

He thanked Serbian President for the hospitality, stressing that Vucic will take care of having the whole market of Bosnia and Herzegovina covered with what Serbia has – wheat, corn and other necessities.

“And that's what Serbia can do. I believe there is no single problem and there won't be any in the next six months,” said Dodik.

The two officials met in the ‘Bokeljka’ villa in Belgrade, wearing protective masks.
