US Ambassador Eric Nelson encouraged Bosnian leaders to remain united and coordinated amid the coronavirus pandemic that the whole world is facing together.
According to the embassy's official Twitter, the ambassador recently met with the members of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency, Security Minister, the Council of Minister Chair and the Speaker of the State House of Peoples to underline the necessity of cooperation among the institutions that saves lives in times of crisis.
“He encouraged BiH’s leaders to remain united, transparent, and coordinated in the times ahead. All of us – in BiH, the U.S., and beyond – are facing this crisis together and will only overcome it together,” the embassy tweeted.
Amb Nelson recently spoke with the Members of the BiH Presidency, CoM Chair Tegeltija, Minister Radoncic, and HoP Speaker Izetbegovic to reinforce that functioning and cooperating institutions save lives in times of crisis.
