The Embassy of Malaysia to Bosnia sent an official note to the Foreign Ministry saying Malaysia will send 2 million masks to Bosnia, following the government's request for international assistance in the fight against the new coronaviruses, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

Following the Security Ministry's initiative, the Council of Ministers, as Bosnia's government is officially called, sent a request to all international governments asking for medical aid to combat the spread of Covid-19.

This is a very valuable donation given Bosnia's current need for protective equipment to prevent the spread of the pandemic, the Security Ministry said.
