Over the past 24 hours, 267 persons were tested, 23 of whom tested positive for coronavirus,” Pehar said. “When it comes to the health condition of our patients, 59 patients have been hospitalised, of which five have serious conditions and they were connected to ventilators. So far, we've had 21 confirmed deaths (caused by Covid-19).”

According to the state Civil Affairs Ministry's data by 12 pm, there are a total of 802 confirmed cases in Bosnia, 7,497 have been tested so far and 34 patients had died as a result of the coronavirus.

10:30 Bosnia's Brcko District reported its first fatality caused by the virus, making it the 34th death in total, in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A man, born in 1965, passed away on Tuesday night after being hospitalised for some time at a special ward of the Brcko Hospital intended for patients with COVID-19. The patient came from the Heart Centre specialist hospital from Tuzla and was connected to a respirator, Brcko authorities said.

At present, seven coronavirus patients, two with severe and five with moderate symptoms are receiving treatment at the Brcko District Hospital, they said.
