12.15 Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity recorded 27 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours, Director of the Public Health Institute Davor Pehar said Monday, adding that, so far, 588 cases were confirmed in this entity.
“Over the past 24 hours, we tested 374 persons of which 27 turned out to be positive for Covid-19. So far, 38 patients have recovered from the new coronavirus and we expect this number to grow even further,” Pehar said.
According to him, the city with the highest number of positive cases is Citluk (75) followed by Mostar (66), Sarajevo (52), Tuzla (49) and Siroki Brijeg (48).
Of the 24 fatalities caused by Covid-19, 11 were women and 13 were men. Two-thirds were over the age of 65.
When it comes to the gender structure, 54 percent of all patients in this entity were women, 46 percent were men.
Cantons with the highest number of confirmed cases are the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (202), Tuzla Canton (81), West-Herzegovina Canton (68) and Sarajevo (64).
At the moment, 63 patients are being treated in hospitals across the FBiH, Pehar confirmed.
According to the Civil Affairs Ministry's data collected by 12 o'clock, Bosnia has a total of 1,030 confirmed cases, 11,612 people were tested and 39 have died as a result of the disease.

When it comes to the Serb-dominated RS entity, Health Minister Alen Seranic said they confirmed four cases of 263 samples they tested. The patients are three women and one man from Banja Luka, Prijedor, Trebinje and East Ilidza.
the total number of confirmed cases now stands over 1,000, more than 200 have recovered from the disease and 39 have died. Official count regarding these numbers will be known after 12 o'clock, on Monday, when the state Civil Affairs Ministry will publish the results from all official health centres in the country.
