A summit meeting of the European Union member states and six Western Balkan countries will be held online on May 6, European Council President Charles Michel said at a news conference on Thursday.
An agreement has been reached to hold the summit on May 6, Michel said after an online EU summit meeting focusing on economic recovery after the coronavirus pandemic.
The EU-Western Balkans summit meeting was to have been held in Zagreb on May 6-7 but it could not be physically organised due to restrictions introduced over the coronavirus pandemic.
