Croatia’s donation of medical protective equipment worth more than 1,2 million Croatian Kuna (nearly €160,000) arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday.

The donation includes, among other things, protective masks, blankets, medical alcohol and protective glasses.

Croatia’s Ambassador, Ivan Sabolic, said that his country has already helped several Bosnian health institutions when the pandemic began and that it has confirmed its commitment to supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina with this donation.

Almir Sahovic, an assistant of Bosnia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, said that the donation is very important for Bosnia and that it represents a concrete example of regional cooperation.

“The war is not over,” he said, referring to the fight against the coronavirus and adding that it will go on for much longer.
