The situation in the world during the fight against the new coronavirus is not surprising, but disappointing for Tim Marshall who is a journalist and author of the book Prisoners of Geography who spoke with N1's Esmir Milavic on Monday.

Marshall, who spent his career reporting on foreign policy, in part in the Balkans during the 1990s, said that what we see today is simply the nature of politics in democracies.

In the interview which can be seen in its entirety, Marshall talks about the US-China relations, the WHO, the situation in the EU, and the political situation in the Balkans.
