Bosnia's Covid-19 cases continue dropping with only 9 new cases over 24 hours

Bosnia's health authorities reported nine New Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours, one in the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity and eight in the Bosniak-Croat Federation (FBiH) entity – all from the Tesanj cluster.

The RS entity authorities said they tested 475 tested for Covid-19, of which only one came back positive.

The FBiH entity, on the other hand, tested 549 samples and eight of which were positive for the disease. Entity health authorities noted that all the positive samples were from the latest Bosnian hotspot – the town of Tesanj, where leather factory workers and their family fell ill to coronavirus, making it the latest and currently the largest cluster in the country.

The state Civil Affairs Ministry reported that there are now 2,494 confirmed cases in the country, of which 1,831 people recovered and 153 had died.
