North Macedonia’s Commission for Infectious Diseases suggested to the Government to reintroduce a lockout in the next four days after the number of infected with coronavirus raised again, the Beta news agency reported.

In the latest 24 hours, the country recorded 101 new cases of coronavirus infection, what was the second-highest number after April 16 when there were 107 patients positive on the new virus.

Due to the latest increase, in the most affected areas, including the capital Skopje, the curfew should be from Thursday at 9 pm to Monday at 5 am, while in places with less number of infected, it should last from Thursday at 9 pm to 5 am on Friday, and during others days, from 4 pm to 5 am the next day.

Previously, the curfew was introduced in North Macedonia on March 22 and lifted on May 27, when the epidemic was believed to be under control.
