A popular musician known for his leftist political outbursts fired back at people throughout the region who took to social media to express their support for the ongoing anti-racism protests in the United States, asking them how many Roma friends they have.
Montenegrin Antonije Pusic, known as Rambo Amadeus, questioned the stance of many people in the Balkans who wrote posts bragging about how they like and respect Afro-Americans.
“Racism is in the Balkans not measured by our relationship toward black people, because there are none here. It is measured by our relationship toward our brothers – the Roma. How many of them do you know personally? How many of them are you friends with?” the musician asked.
