Bosnia records 77 new Covid-19 cases

Bosnian health authorities reported 77 new Covid-19 cases, 42 from the Bosniak-Croat shader Federation (FBiH) entity and 35 from the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity.

After testing 518 samples over the past 24 hours, the FBiH health authorities reported 42 positive results, most of which came from Tuzla, Zenica-Doboj, Central-Bosnia and Sarajevo Canton.

The RS Health Ministry said they tested 278 samples collected over the past 24 hours, 35 of which came back positive.

Health authorities from both entities recorded no fatalities caused by the new SARS-COV2 virus and urged the citizens to adhere to the measures and restrictions aimed at preventing the spread of the disease.

Bosnia now has 3,416 confirmed cases and 169 fatalities.
