After testing 776 samples, the North Macedonian health authorities recorded 101 new COVID-19 cases and five virus-related fatalities, Health Minister Venko Filipce said Sunday.
According to him, the total number of virus-related fatalities in this country now stands at 238 and the number of confirmed results since the beginning of the pandemic is 5,106.
The country currently has 2,942 active cases and 362 are being treated in hospitals across North Macedonia.
North Macedonian health authorities tested 51,160 people for COVID-10, the Minister said, adding that yesterday alone they tested 776 cases.
On Saturday, North Macedonia reported 11 virus-related fatalities which is the biggest single-day death toll in the country.
