US Armed Forces and NATO members delivered on Friday a donation in protective gear and a high-quality disinfection gate for the needs of Sarajevo International Airport in protecting the travellers amid coronavirus pandemic.
NATO HQ Sarajevo Commander, Brigadier-General William Edwards, attended the handover ceremony alongside his advisors and representatives of the Airport management.
“Since the beginning of the crisis, NATO allies have been donating tonnes of supplies in numerous shipments as a response to the demands that Bosnia and Herzegovina had sent to the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC),” said the airport's statement.
