A total of 108 new coronavirus cases were reported in Bosnia in the past 24 hours, which is a sharp drop compared to the record-breaking 172 new cases that were confirmed in the country between Friday and Saturday.
Of the 484 samples tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region in the past 24 hours, 68 were positive, including 33 in the wider area of the capital, Canton Sarajevo.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 40 of the 280 samples tested were positive. Two more people also passed away due to COVID-19 in the RS since Saturday.
More than 4,000 people have tested positive for the virus in Bosnia so far, while some 180 have passed away due to COVID-19 and more than 2,300 have recovered.
