The world's number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic, will stay in Bosnia until Wednesday and plans to visit most of the locations within the Bosnian Valley of Pyramids, the ‘Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ Foundation said on Tuesday, describing the Serbian sports star as an “extremely spiritual man” interested in “energies and spirituality.”
Djokovic arrived in Bosnia on Monday and visited the site in Visoko, near the capital.
“The world's best tennis player and great humanitarian, Novak Djokovic, arrived on an invitation by the founder of the ‘Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ Foundation, Dr Semir Osmanagic, for a three-day visit to the Bosnian Pyramids, from July 13 to July 15, 2020. He will during this time visit most archaeological locations and the ‘Ravne 2’ park in Visoko,” the Foundation said.
It stressed that this is a private visit and that no statements to the media should be expected.
Preparations for Djokovic's visit were ongoing for the past two months so the tennis player can have the opportunity to visit all the locations within the Bosnian Valley of Pyramids, the Foundation said. Djokovic has so far already visited the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, the Foundation Museum and the prehistoric underground tunnels of Ravne.
“Djokovic is an extremely spiritual man who is interested in energies and spirituality, which is why he decided to visit the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, and it is planned for him to stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina until Wednesday, accompanied by his parents,” it said.
