The North Macedonia Health Ministry said on Friday that five patients died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total to 406 since the pandemic broke out.
It said that 1,612 people had been tested in that period including 164 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus/ A total 83,216 people have been tested to date, 8,786 of who tested positive.
The ministry said there are 3,704 active cases including 49 patients on ventilators. A total of 4,676 patients recovered from COVID-19.
