Slovenia has confirmed 24 new coronavirus cases after performing 1,027 tests in the last 24 hours, the government announced on Saturday.
It was five cases more than in the past three days when 19 new cases were reported each day.
Nineteen infected persons are currently receiving hospital treatment and two of them are in intensive care. Two people have been discharged.
More than half of the new daily infections were confirmed in young people as six of those infected are in the 25-34 age group and seven are aged 35-44. The other infected are older.
There have been no new fatalities, with the death toll remaining at 111.
Since the start of the epidemic in Slovenia, 120,056 tests have been carried out, of which 1,940 returned positive, and 261 cases are still active.
The latest cases were identified in 19 municipalities, mostly in Ljubljana (four cases), Velenje and Kranj (two each).
