The Montenegrin National Body for Contagious Diseases decided on Tuesday to re-declare the coronavirus epidemic which it reported over on June 2, the coastal republic’s Government said, as cited by the Beta news agency.
The move followed the new outbreak of the epidemic in mid-June, and on Tuesday, Podgorica reported a total of 1,920 infected people and 26 deaths.
As of Wednesday, face masks are mandatory indoor and outdoor in the whole of the country.
Children older than seven years of age also must wear masks, except on beaches and in national parks if they keep a minimum physical distance of two meters.
The gatherings are limited to 40 people in public places and 20 indoors with mandatory physical distance.
