In the last 24 hours, eight people died from COVID-19 related complications, while out of 11,521 tested, 426 came back positive, N1 reported on Wednesday.

The total death toll stood at 499. On Tuesday, 4,619 patients were hospitalized, and 205 of them were on ventilators.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic on March 6, a total of 580,271 people have been tested, and 22,031 were confirmed positive.
