In the last 24 hours, out of 621 tests, 91 came back positive with coronavirus, and four more patients died, bringing the death toll to 39, according to the country’s Institute of Public Health.
Since the epidemic outbreak, 2,472 patients were confirmed infected, while on Wednesday, there were 1,937 so-called active cases.
Podgorica on Tuesday declared the coronavirus epidemicfor the second time since March, due to an increasing number of infected people after the coastal republic announced it was over on June 2, following 28 days without a single case.
Earlier on Wednesday, doctors from Montenegro reported two more coronavirus-related deaths.
