Serbia’s Health Ministry reported on Friday that ten people died and 409 tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

A total death toll stood on 518 on Friday with a mortality ratio of 2.27 percent per 100,000 people.

In the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry’s covid.rs website, 10,634 people were tested, while since the outbreak of the epidemic on March 6, a total number of tested people was 601,984 and 22,852 of them were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

On Tuesday, 4,575 patients were hospitalised, and 167 of them were on ventilators.
