The University of Sarajevo (UNSA) ranks 1,496th on the world list of 30,000 universities screened by four criteria: presence, influence, openness and excellence, ranking it in the top five percent of all universities on this list, according to the July preliminary issue of the Webometrics ranking, the UNSA said.

This is the best ranking that the University has ever achieved on this ranking list, they said.

“We note that in January this year, the UNSA was in 1,554th place, in July 2019 in 1,669th place, and in January 2018 in 2,039th place. This ranking is a significant improvement and a result of efforts invested by the University management and its academic and non-academic staff, in synergy with its other organisational units,” the University said.
