The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Tuesday that 8 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 551.

It said that 9,817 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 379 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 641,091 with 24,520 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 4,531 active cases, including 156 patients on ventilators.
