Montenegro reports two more deaths, 67 new cases of coronavirus infection

The Institute for Public Health in Podgorica said that two people died due to coronavirus-related complications in the last 24 hours, the Beta news agency reported.

At the same time, 67 of 608 PCR tests came back positive.

The death toll stood at 38 since early June, while since the beginning of the year it was 47.

Since June 14, a total of 616 patients recovered, leaving the number of active cases at 2,038.

Montenegro re-declared the epidemic on July 21, due to a spike in newly infected people.

Previously, it declared the end of the epidemic on June 2.
