Twelve people have passed away due to COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina while a total of 313 new coronavirus cases were confirmed across the country in the past 24 hours, health authorities said on Thursday.
Of the 1,202 samples tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region, 210 were positive. Eight people died in FBiH due to COVID-19 since Wednesday.
Health authorities in the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), tested 586 people and the results for 95 of them came back positive. There were also four fatalities due to the disease.
Eight more coronavirus cases were also reported in Bosnia’s Brcko District.
A total of 11,352 coronavirus cases were confirmed in Bosnia so far, 328 people died due to COVID-19 and 5,598 recovered.
