The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide has doubled to 20 million over the past six weeks. The World Health Organization (WHO) warns that the world should act as if this virus is a constant and that they should not think about the potential second wave of COVID-19 in the fall or winter. Richard Pebody, head of the WHO High Pathogen Team for Europe, talked in an interview with N1 about the importance of adaptation to the current state of the virus and how it is changing the world.
He also touched upon the situation in the Western Balkans and the growth in the number cases among the younger population.
