Bosnia's coronavirus cases spike back to 341 along with 12 virus-related deaths

Bosnian health authorities reported 341 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, 234 from the Federation (FBiH) entity, and 106 from Republika Srpska (RS) entity. The authorities added there were 12 virus-related fatalities in the country.

The FBiH health authorities said they tested 1,601 samples of which 234 came back positive. The entity recorded five virus-related fatalities.

The RS health officials said they tested 471 samples for the disease, of which 106 showed positive results. This entity said they recorded seven virus-related fatalities.

Brcko District authorities said they recorded one new case of Covid.19.

The city with the most reported cases was once again Sarajevo where 47 positive results were reported.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Bosnia recorded 16,692 cases of Covid-19 of which 10,592 have recovered and 507 had died.
