Health authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have reported another 189 new coronavirus cases on Sunday.

A total of 597 samples were tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region and 125 of them came back positive for the coronavirus. FBiH health authorities also reported three deaths due to COVID-19 since Saturday.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 62 of the 302 people tested were positive for the virus.

Two more coronavirus cases were also reported in Bosnia’s Brcko District, which belongs to neither of the two semi-autonomous regions.

About 18,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus so far in Bosnia while more than 11,000 have recovered and more than 500 have died due to COVID-19.
