Bosnia and Herzegovina has for the second day seen a slight drop in the daily record of new coronavirus infection cases with 127 new patients confirmed across the country on Monday.

The healthcare authorities also confirmed 12 deaths and the country’s Covid-19 death toll now stands at 547.

With 18,029 infection cases confirmed across the country since the epidemic outbreak and 11,861 Covid-19 patients who have recovered to date, Bosnia and Herzegovina currently counts 5,621 active cases.

Healthcare authorities in Bosnia’s Federation entity have so far reported 10,867 patients positive for the coronavirus. To this date, 7,628 have recovered and 297 died.

As for the other part of the country, Republika Srpska, its healthcare authorities have reported 6,886 infections with the novel coronavirus. The total of 4,034 patients have recovered and 232 died.

Brcko District, a separate administrative unit in the north, has reported 276 patients on its territory. Eighteen patients have died 199 have recovered to date.
