Health authorities in Bosnia’s two semi-autonomous regions reported a total of 293 new coronavirus cases and nine more deaths due to COVID-19 on Friday.

Of the total of 1,309 people tested for the virus in the Federation (FBiH), 214 were positive and seven people passed away due to the disease.

In the other region, Republika Srpska (RS), this was the case for 79 of the 489 people tested.

A total of 19,214 have been infected with the coronavirus so far in Bosnia, while 591 people died due to COVID-19 and 12,733 recovered.
