Bosnia’s Institute for Missing Persons said on Wednesday that the remains of at least two people, believed to be victims of the Srebrenica Genocide, were found at two locations in Bratunac.
“It is believed that the found remains belong to the victims of Bosniak nationality who were moving in a column that passed through this area after the fall of Srebrenica, in the summer of 1995,” the statement said.
The remains will be transported to the Commemoration Centre in Tuzla to be identified and the Institute said it is currently looking for another mass grave in the area of Srebrenica.
