Bosnian health authorities reported a total of 296 new coronavirus cases and 12 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Saturday.
The Public Health Institute in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region said that 227 of the 945 samples tested since Friday were positive for the virus and that six more people passed away due to the disease.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 69 of the 572 people tested were positive and six people died due to COVID-19.
More than 21,000 people have tested positive for the virus across the country in total so far and more than 14,000 of them meanwhile recovered.
More than 600 have died due to COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the virus came to the country.
