Serbia wants the best possible relations with Bosnia with respect to the Dayton Peace agreement and peace in the region, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Saturday.

Asked to comment on the Friday meeting with Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik who told him that “the leader of the Democratic Action Party (SDA) and Bosniak leader Bakir Izetbegovic once again announced a review of Bosnia's lawsuit against Serbia for genocide and that Sarajevo is threatening with war, once again,” Vucic said that “the situation is not as simple and that he perceived Izetbegovic's statements as any other.”

The Serbian President added he understands Dodik and what he expects from Serbia, noting that Serbia will protect its people.
