Bosnia logs 293 new Covid-19 cases and 20 deaths

According to Bosnian health authorities, the country recorded 292 new cases of coronavirus, on Tuesday, along with 20 deaths caused by the disease.

The country's Federation (FBiH) entity reported 235 new cases after testing 1,733 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity's Public Health Institute said they recorded 17 deaths as well, seven over the past 24 hours and 10 confirmations from an earlier period.

The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 57 new cases of the disease after testing 436 suspected samples. This entity registered two fatalities.

The north-Bosnian Brcko District reported one more case of Covid-19 as well as a new fatality caused by the novel coronavirus.

According to the state Civil Affairs Ministry, the country has so far reported 23,929 cases of Covid-19, of which 16,701 have recovered and 725 had died.
