Croatia has invested about €1.27 billion in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the post-war period, which makes it one of the top investors in the country, according to data released on Friday by the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to consolidated data, total foreign investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past two and a half decades amount to 15.02 billion convertible marks (€7.7 bn).
Austria is the largest investor with KM 2.7 billion (€1.4 bn), followed by Croatia with investments worth KM 2.4 billion (€1.2 bn), and Serbia, which invested close to KM 2 billion (€1 bn).
Most foreign investments were made in financial services (€1.9 bn).
The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina said that 2019 saw a drop in foreign investments compared to 2018.
