More than 200 new coronavirus cases and another 10 COVID-19 fatalities in Bosnia

More than 200 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina and ten more people died due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, health institutions reported on Friday.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region, 1,223 samples were tested and 161 of them came back positive for the virus. The semi-autonomous entity also reported that seven patients died since the day before.

Bosnia’s other entity, Republika Srpska (RS), saw 64 new coronavirus cases among the 549 samples tested, while three people passed away due to the disease.

One more person tested positive for the virus in Bosnia’s Brcko District, which is not part of Bosnia’s entities.

Of the 27,975 who tested positive for the coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic, 21,108 recovered so far.

The COVID-19 death toll is 871.

According to official data, there are currently 5,996 active coronavirus cases in the country.
