Bosnia reports 15 deaths and 261 new coronavirus case over the past 24 hours

According to Bosnian health authorities, the country recorded 261 new cases of coronavirus, on Tuesday, along with 15 deaths caused by the disease.

The country's Federation (FBiH) entity reported 198 new cases after testing 1,714 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity's Public Health Institute said they recorded 11 deaths caused by the new coronavirus.

The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 63 new cases of the disease after testing 428 suspected samples. This entity also reported having four fatalities over the last 24 hours.

Brcko District authorities said the recorded no new fatalities or fresh cases of coronavirus.

According to the State Civil Affairs Ministry, there have been 28,710 confirmed cases in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic, 22,274 of which have recovered and 903 have died. Bosnia currently has 5,533 active cases, the Ministry said.
