Another 185 coronavirus cases, eight more COVID-19 deaths reported in Bosnia

Eight more people died due to COVID-19 and another 185 tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Monday.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 82 of the 888 samples tested since Sunday were positive for the virus and six people passed away due to COVID-19.

Bosnia’s other semi-autonomous region, Republika Srpska (RS), tested 539 samples and 102 of them were positive, while two people died due to the disease.

Bosnia’s Brcko District, which does not belong to the two semi-autonomous entities, also reported one more coronavirus case.

A total of 30,837 people have tested positive for the virus in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the beginning of the epidemic and more than 23,587 have recovered so far, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

The COVID-19 death toll is 936 and there are currently 6,314 active coronavirus cases in the country.
